Corinne Tozier, Legal Assistant/Bookkeeper

Corinne’s smile and courteous greeting are often our client’s first impression of Briggs & Counsel’s office.  But as your case progresses you will see that there is much more to Corinne than her calm and professional demeanor.  When an attorney is not immediately available to take a telephone call, it is often Corinne who will make sure that your question, concern or message is understood, and relayed to an attorney promptly and accurately.

Corinne uses her excellent oral and written skills to help win your case by assisting in the preparation of vital legal documents, fielding telephone calls, implementing office procedures, handling client funds, and performing other highly specialized legal assistant services critical to your case and the smooth operation of a personal injury law office.  Corinne handles all Briggs & Counsel scheduling.

Corinne is discreet and sensitive to the fact that you have come to our office with a personal matter.  She holds your information in the strictest confidence.

Corinne, who has over 35 years legal experience, graduated from Andover Institute of Business with an Associates Degree in Legal Secretarial Sciences.  She worked for a law firm in Massachusetts for 10 years until she moved to North Carolina where she spent another 14 years in the legal field.  Corinne moved to Maine in 1995 and started working for Don Briggs.  In her spare time, Corinne dabbles with stenciling, calligraphy and knitting, enjoys reading and tending the “farm” with her husband.
